Sam! Ted Danson hits up Green Hills restaurant
You might know him as bartender Sam in TV sitcom “Cheers”. I personally loved the guy in Larry David’s HBO series “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. And he has been in a ton of great movies.
Ted Danson is often spotted around town, as his actress wife, Mary Steenburgen, moved here last year. And Ted may have followed her, but we’re not sure.
Hayden Panettiere from “Nashville” spotted in Nashville!
OK, so it’s really really cool that a major network TV show called “Nashville” is actually being made in Nashville. So of course we’re gonna spot the stars fairly often.
But how often do they post pictures of themselves in Nashville restaurants?
I couldn’t resist: Young Hayden Panettiere, who plays the sassy country music upstart on the show, celebrated her 23rd birthday here in Music City. And she did it at The Patterson House restaurant, even posing with a pic of birthday doughnuts (complete with candle) on Twitter!
We’re all shook up: Lisa Marie Presley invades Nashville!
Well, OK, maybe “invades” is a strong word, but Elvis Presley’s daughter – who grew up about four hours southwest of here, in Memphis – made her Grand Ole Opry debut this week.
Didn’t know that Lisa Marie Presley is a singer too, did ya?
“I’m actually more nervous about doing this than doing ‘American Idol’ last year,” LMP told reporters beforehand.
Lisa Marie’s performance was the first Opry appearance by a Presley since her dad was on the show back in 1954!
So where does a Presley eat? Lisa Marie was spotted at the Merchants restaurant right downtown.
Uh, no, the restaurant doesn’t serve peanut butter and banana sandwiches. (But everything else there is fantastic!)
Is that Aidan from “Sex and the City”? In Nashville?
Why, yes it is!
Actor John Corbett also loves making music, and he has spent hours, days, weeks and months writing, recording and playing in Music City.
Word is that John is doing something special with Great American Country (GAC) cable channel.
Some excited fans spotted him staying at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. And that’s in fact where most out-of-town celebs stay, if they’re not at the Hermitage Hotel downtown.
